Installation

Note: the screenshots below are representative only. Since I've changed the plug-in names the names have changed but the process remains the same .... the text is OK.

First check the pre-requisites then ...

Select Find and Install. Note that the example shown is RSA, but the same mechanism would be used on Eclipse.….

 And install new features…

Select ‘New Remote Site’. Give the site a name and use on of the following for the URL:

http://modelwizard.sourceforge.net

Press OK and then select the site that you just named (and unselect any other sites). Select Next …

For the default/full installation, select all the displayed plug-ins. Note that if you are updating an existing installation, not all the features may display .. only the ones that need updating.

The following plug-ins are available:

• Model Wizard. The plug-in containing the Model Wizard application and supporting infrastructure.
• Chameleon Model. A plug-in containing the Chameleon model and abstraction interface. It also contains a set of blueprints, menu files and a UML profile for the model. Additionally, it also contains exporters for various formats.
• CIM V2. A plug-in containing a model and abstraction for CIMV2.

Click through the license.

Again select the Model Wizard feature and select a ‘site’ to install it to. Note the location of this site so that you can refer to it, if you want to uninstall (this is discussed in more detail later).

You can select individual sites for each plug-in, so check the others...

You will get prompted as follows because both JARs are unsigned … click through.

The installation will then take place. Once it finishes, you will be prompted to restart the workbench. Click yes.
